    1. Thanks for commenting crazysnake. I’m glad you don’t think Pixar has lost their magic touch–I really like what I’m hearing about Inside Out, which I think will be great. Funny enough, I never loved The Incredibles as much as everybody else seems to, so I’m in agreement with you there.

      1. I still believe they have a lot of great work to show. Whats really interesting to me is how much they have accomplished, in so little time. Compared to Disney, and Dreamworks Animation, I like all 3 studios, Pixar just stands out to me more.

  1. I couldn’t have said it better myself! Long live Pixar, and may they continue their tradition of great storytelling and themes (At least as long as Cars 3 and The Incredibles 2 don’t suck)!

  2. Oh, I forgot about Finding Dory! I’m excited for that, but nervous, too. Finding Nemo has been one of my favorites since it came out, so I’m not sure how Finding Dory will live up to the original.

    1. The thing I worry about Finding Dory is that it’ll be predictable. Based on title alone, I have a feeling the movie will be exploring her past, so let’s hope Pixar can make her back-story interesting enough for an entire movie.

  3. I really enjoyed this post. There’s not much to dispute here, even if my choices and rankings would be slightly different.

My biggest qualm: The absence of the following quote from best Pixar quotes:

Woody: YOU… ARE… A… TOY! You aren’t the real Buzz Lightyear! You’re… you’re an action figure! You are a child’s plaything.

Buzz: You are a sad strange little man, and you have my pity.

    1. Hey Dan. I’m glad you liked the post. I put a lot more work into this than my Disney conclusion, so I hope it paid off.

You bring up a good moment from Toy Story, but I think the quote isn’t complete without both Woody and Buzz’s line (as you’ve presented it). I tried to leave the best Pixar quote section for a singular character to say. Hopefully, this makes the omission more understandable. It’d be neat if you did a ranking of your favorite PIxar movies over at your site! I think I’ve read the one where you review most of them, but a lot of them got 4 stars, so the ranking isn’t definitive. Just a thought. 🙂

  4. Very well done post. I’m one of the few who actually liked the Cars movies. Not perfect but I thought they were fun. Brave was a disappointment but I didnt hate it. Rest masterpieces.
Up is my favorite. I love the message that those who pass on remain an active presence in our lives and we can live their dreams and feel them with us. Just everything about it I love. I also think it has the best Pixar score.
But Walle, Finding Nemo, Toy Story movies. Monsters inc and university and Ratatouille are masterpieces. So excited for inside Out!
